Caffe Bene Cafe, Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro, and Ilight Festival ((:

It has been quite a hectic and busy month for me this year. Balancing my time with work, training and time spent with Family and friends even though it is school holidays right now and I only spent my time in Singapore. Finally a rest day tomorrow for me, its been so long. Time pass so fast and school starting in 2 weeks time.

So basically, i just wanted to update my blog about some of the cafes i visited with my friends or family this March.

•••

On the 14th March, right after we spent the whole afternoon in Adventure Cove Waterpark, we were all famished and decided to have out dinner at Bagus in Harbourfront Centre and our dessert at Caffe bene in Vivo City.

Caffe Bene are quite popular in Korea for their coffee and now it has open in Singapore. We tried out their Honey Bread: Caramel Cinnamon Bread ($12.90), Cookies and Cream Bingsu (Single scoop: $14.90 , Double scoop: $19.90), Cheese Nuts Waffle ($9.90) and Gelato Waffle ($9.90).

It is a comfortable place to chill at, adding up with a warmth environment.

I really love their Caramel Cinnamon Bread, it was really satisfying.(: Since nowadays, Bingsu has been quite a trend in Singapore, you can find it anywhere. But this was the first time i tried the bingsu, where red beans are filled up at the bottom of the jar. Reminds me of Ice Kacang haha. As for the gelato waffle, you can pick any of the ice cream flavours according to your choice.

Here's the location:
Caffebene Singapore
Vivocity, 1 Harbourfront Walk #02-150 Singapore 098585

As you guys know, there has been Ilight Festival happening at Marina Bay this March and from what i know, last Sunday was the last day. Last Sunday, my cousins and I decided to visit there. It was actually my second time there as my first time i didn't get to explore more.

On that day, we decided to have our lunch at Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro before watching a movie called Batman vs Superman and then, head to Marina for the Ilight Festival.

Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro are popular with their Swedish Meatballs. So we tried their Swedish Meatballs, which is made up of Meatballs, parsley potatoes, cream sauce, lingonberry jam and a small side salad ($19.90), Macaroni Stew with Sausages, it is creamy milk-stewed macaroni with sausages, served with cherry tomatoes, fresh parsley and tomato ketchup ($17.90), Fisherman Pasta, which is made up of Linguine pasta, mussels, white fish, squid and prawn served with lemon butter sauce and topped with fresh rocket leaves and cherry tomatoes ($25.90), and a side dish of Oven-Baked Cheesy Potato Wedges ($9.90).

The food was really good and a good place for vegetarian too, However, some food was kinda pricey, but it was worth it. The place was classy but relaxed indeed, My cousins and I even get a voucher from them, how nice of them, I don't mind coming here again. hehe

Here's the locations:
257 Beach Road
Singapore 199539

9 Raffles Boulevard, #01-02, Millenia Walk
Singapore 039596

11 Tanjong Katong Rd, #02-K3, OneKM
Singapore 436998

For more info, you can visit their website here.

After we watched the movie, we straight away rush to Marina. The lights here are so cool, the way it was design and how some of it functions. Here are some of the pictures taken, sadly didn't take all though because I was having too much fun haha.

They even had small booths here, selling some of the food sold in PasarBella, Some performances were even held. It was such a comfortable and nice environment to sit and enjoy the food, as the place was held beside the Singapore River, adding on with a beautiful scenery.

Have you heard of the Ilight Art Market by Megafash? This place is very cool though. From what i heard, during the Ilight Festival, they change every weekend in March, introducing us to different kinds of food, clothes and other stuffs.

So the carnival are somehow the main attraction for the teenagers like us. Didn't get to ride the rides here, due to the long queue since it's weekend. Anyway, there's always a next time. (:

Ending my blog here, till we meet again.

Our trip to Zulos Cafe

Finally ended my year 1 in poly and its finally the holidays yo😌😌🙌🏻 Suddenly decided to update my blog after like a year plus or 2 years (??) Wow, that was long.

•••

Since it's the start of our holidays already, my friend and I decided to try out Zulos since it's near our neighborhood. It was quite hidden but lucky we didn't got lost, thanks to our buddy (google). It's located in Clementi and the nearest shopping mall there is West Coast Plaza. The address is stated below.

We thought it will be quite pack but to our surprise there's not much people since it was like 4pm. But oh well, we got a place to sit.

We try out their Butter beer milkshake and Sticky Caramel milkshake, S'mores (+ ice cream) waffles and Kinder Bueno Churros.

The milkshake was worth it since it's this big hehehe

Anyway there is a promotion where you can get the second set of waffle at half price but only on Monday and rainy days((: Sadly it wasn't raining today. As for the payment, they only accept cash, no nets and credit card payment.

Gonna visit other cafes and try to update my blog whenever I can.

So here's the address:
 611 Clementi West Street 1, Block 611, 120611

The Cat Cafe @ Bugis

So yesterday, my friend and i finally went to The Cat Cafe at Bugis Village level 3 (above Burger King). We've been wanting to go here ever since it's opened. It was raining so heavily and this would be such a nice weather to sleep. Anyway, we reached there at around 2pm and stayed there till about 5pm. Once we reached there, we were welcomed by the staff. Basically, the staff will explained the rules and everything and it is $15 per entry. There is no time limit. Refreshments were given to every customers.

The cats here are very cute and seemed to be relaxed with massive amount of attention. At first, they were just lethargic but responsive. But after their feeding time at 3, they are more awake and seemed to be more playful. It was fun playing with them tho. But after about an hour of playing, most of them fell asleep. Didn't get to try any food or coffee there as i was too engrossed playing with the cats haha.

Such a nice weather to sleep huh

It's cute how the cats tried to catch the feather that was poked through the door by the staff.

This is such a cute kitty with that tie on haha

I'm so gonna visit other cat cafes and will try out their food there(:
